Everyday Antisemitism

When I was a kid I was riding my bicycle in Ottawa . I was wearing my yarmulke which I only wore occasionally at that time.

I rode by a group of teens and one of them stuck his hand out and knocked my yarmulke off as they all cursed and laughed at me.

Following this I decided to always wear a yarmulke.

The sickest part of this is that I really feel bad for the kid who did this to me. I mean if he had any idea what it caused it would make him feel terrible and I’m sure he never would have done it.
