On August 13, 2014 I found two pieces of paper pinned at a rain gutter in the Weserstraße in Berlin-Neukölln. It was written on it:
Once there lived a child named
Ibrahim Ramadan Hassan Abu Daqa
Born 2004 in Ghaza
Killed 2014 in Ghaza
and
Once there lived a child named
Fatima Mahmoud al-Hajj
Born 2002 in Ghaza
Killed 2014 in Ghaza
The layout of the papers is obviously a reference to the Stolpersteine (german for “stumbling stones”) which remember the people who were persecuted and killed by the Nazis from 1933 to 1945, mainly Jews.
The message of this papers is: the Israelis (or optionally “the Jews”) are the “new Nazis”, because the dead in Gaza are identified with the victims of the Nazis.
