Man arrested for shouting antisemitic slurs and trying to enter New York synagogue

Members of Ahi Ezer Congregation heard loud banging on the locked doors of the large Brooklyn synagogue at about 7:30 on Thursday morning. For several minutes, a man, aged approximately 20 and of Middle Eastern descent, screamed antisemitic slurs, and tried to enter the building. New York Police Department and members of Shomrim, the Jewish neighbourhood watch patrol, deployed quickly and the man was arrested.
